(Be)Philly provides financial support and increased visibility to charitable organizations with a proven track record of improving the education and economic outcomes of students in the Philadelphia public schools. We also create original media content to lead a conversation around social impact in our city, so we can find out what works, and how to do more of it.
Who We Serve
The (Be)Philly Foundation is primarily focused on improving the lives of students in the Philadelphia Public School system (K-12). While our larger goal is to serve all kids in greater Philadelphia area, we’ve chosen to focus our initial resources on those students who are most historically and consistently underserved.
How We Make a Difference
We believe that to do the most good, we must always do that which gives the most agency to those we serve.
Academic Opportunity
We give students the resources and guidance necessary to ensure that talent, intelligence, and perseverance are met with the opportunities they deserve.
Economic Agency
We give students an “unfair advantage” in the modern workplace by providing the tools and the knowledge they need to break away from the pack.
Self Belief
We work to provide students with role models and mentors that nurture their self-belief so that they may thrive and persevere in the face of adversity.

Underdog Apparel
A clothing brand that celebrates Philadelphia’s relentless Underdog spirit by designing and selling custom, homegrown apparel, while donating all proceeds to (Be)Philly.
Charitable Donations
We accept private donations, corporate sponsorships, and a variety of in-kind contributions. If you’re interested in supporting us, or getting involved, we’d love to chat.
